A Little More About Me
Hello and welcome! I'm thrilled you're here and I'd love to share a piece of my story with you.
My son was diagnosed with ADHD when he was nine. We watched as he struggled with school, sleep, and, most importantly, his self-esteem, often feeling powerless to help. Wanting to support him in the best way possible, I developed a deep desire to understand how his brain worked and how to manage the challenges he faced. This personal experience led to a curiousity in how my own brain worked (leading to a late diagnosis), and this evolved into a passion for helping others with ADHD.
While working as a Lecturer in the UK, I extended this passion to supporting neurodivergent students. Helping them overcome challenges and discover strategies for success was incredibly fulfilling. It felt like a natural progression to deepen my expertise by becoming an ADHD specialist coach. I pursued my training at ADDCA, one of the few ICF-accredited ADHD coaching programs in the world. I have become more involved in Neurodiversity Advocacy and I enjoy training businesses, coaches and educators on being neuroinclusive.

Currently, I work with ADHD and AuDHD clients both within and beyond the university setting. I support adults at every stage of the journey- whether you're still waiting for a diagnosis, have recently been diagnosed, or are along the path towards acceptance and growth. I can help you understand your traits, embrace them (neither as a super-power nor as a hindrance), and together develop unique strategies that work specifically for you. Whether it's prioritising, managing time, improving focus, or navigating the emotional landscape of neurodiversity, I'm here to guide you with empathy, understanding and a touch of humour.

Thank you for reading my story.

The name "Shine On" was inspired by two iconic songs, "Shine On" and "Shine On You Crazy Diamond." I feel they celebrate individuality and incredible, vibrant energy. They remind us that with the right focus and support, even the difficulties we face can become opportunities to channel that energy positively, so that you can take the best path and 'Shine On' in all aspects of your life.
