How can ADHD coaching help me live better with my neurodivergent brain?
I work with ADHD and AuDHD clients (those with ADHD and Autism) - as well as other neurodivergent thinkers, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed. I support:
-
Adults who want to understand themselves better and make meaningful changes in their personal and, perhaps, professional lives.
-
University Students who want to excel academically and develop the skills to manage their university life effectively.
-
Educators/ teachers wanting to work with someone who knows what it's like to juggle an intense workload and balance home-life.
-
Access to Work clients, helping employees (self-employed or employed) with ADHD/AuDHD thrive in their workplace and beyond.

Meet Nicky
I am a late diagnosed, professionally qualified ADHD life coach (certified by ICF). I hold a Master’s degree in teaching and training, with over 25 years of experience in training and education, and have spent several years supporting neurodivergent individuals whilst working as a Lecturer in the UK (North West).

One of my greatest realisations was that life could be so much better for NDers when you don’t have to do it on your own. I was one of the lucky people who was able to access coaching for myself. This helped me to set boundaries, organise and prioritise my life, make decisions that were normally paralysing, become unstuck when ruminating, use techniques that could help me become less distracted, more attentive, and generally be a better parent, partner and friend (that among many more areas).

What challenges can ADHD coaching support with?
Feeling overwhelmed by strong emotions especially when they effect your relationships (including Rejection Sensitivity Dysphoria)
Wanting more control in the moment: a mental 'pause' button before reacting or making decisions so you can respond with clarity rather than impulse
Struggling with time-blindness and planning ahead; always feeling like you're racing the clock. Wanting life to feel calmer, more organised and less rushed
Finding procrastination is getting in the way of leading a full life and discovering how to turn your whirlwind of ideas into action
Letting go of the need to overcompensate through masking or perfectionism and learning to set healthy boundaries so you can protect time for the things that matter most
Online, one to one, private ADHD/AuDHD coaching sessions for diagnosed and undiagnosed adults.
Also catering for 'Access to Work' clients.
Nicky helped me gain awareness of how my lack of boundary setting was not only impacting my life but it was enabling poor behaviors in others towards me. Nicky is amazing and was so experienced, warm and welcoming.

I truly felt that Nicola completely understood my brain. She has amazing listening skills in this area & was able to pick up on the parts of my life that I’m passionate about & also the parts that I find extremely challenging. I have implemented tools to help get the mundane tasks complete which has been enlightening.

Nicola’s coaching style has helped me come up with my own ideas & strategies and I’m now better at coaching myself.

I feel so happy to have had private coaching with Nicky. I have AuDHD and was struggling with ideas around seeking a work promotion, which were holding me back. I gained such valuable awareness and strategies for managing my thought processes.
